Job summary

Boys & Girls Clubs of Greater San Diego is seeking a Sr. Group Leader to support daily site operations under the Branch Manager. You will supervise staff and volunteers, implement programs, recruit members, and manage data to demonstrate outcomes.

In this role you will ensure safety protocols, lead youth activities, maintain attendance records, and provide strong customer service to families and partners. Occasional evenings and weekends may be required.

Qualifications

• Must be 18+ with HS diploma or GED; some college experience.
• Minimum of 48 college units or completion of CAPE.
• 1–3 years experience working with school-aged youth.
• Ability to plan and implement quality programs for youth.
• Ability to communicate effectively with youth, parents, staff, volunteers and community partners.
• CPR and First Aid Certifications within 30 days of hire.

Responsibilities

• Assist with daily operations and supervision of staff and volunteers.
• Coordinate program services and activities; ensure health and safety protocols.
• Plan and lead programs for youth; promote participation and guidance to members.
• Maintain accurate attendance records and program data.
• Provide effective customer service to parents and staff.
• Serve as lead staff in absence of Site Supervisor or Regional Manager.
