Job summary

Boys & Girls Clubs of Greater San Diego seeks a Group Leader to supervise elementary and middle school youth in clubs and school sites, guiding activities in learning center, games room, and outdoors while ensuring safety and engagement.

You will plan and lead programs, maintain attendance, communicate with families and staff, and uphold health protocols; CPR/First Aid certification is required within 30 days of hire.

Qualifications

• Requires high school diploma or GED with some college experience or equivalent.
• Minimum of 48 college units or CAPE; or equivalent knowledge/experience.
• Minimum of one year experience with school-aged youth; ability to lead and coach groups.

Responsibilities

• Lead and direct groups of 10–20 youth in recreational and educational activities.
• Ensure health, safety, and cleanliness protocols are followed.
• Plan, organize, and lead programs; maintain attendance records and communicate with families.
