Turner Construction Company is seeking a senior procurement leader to manage the xPL Offsite procurement strategy. You will lead the department, define policies, and guide cross-functional teams including SourceBlue to drive opportunities.

The role requires at least 15 years of experience, including 10 in construction procurement, strong contract knowledge, and travel up to 30%. The project location is Chicago, IL with salaried exempt status.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree and minimum of 15 years of experience including 10 years in Construction, Procurement Management, or equivalent.
• Extensive experience developing and/or implementing Procurement policies, procedures, and practices.
• Thorough understanding of contractual language, indemnity, insurance, financial statements and analysis, and company policies.

Responsibilities

• Lead development of xPL Procurement department processes, practices and staff.
• Develop and implement bidding strategies with xPL Strategic Sourcing and Offsite teams.
• Oversee contracts to align with company standards and BPCC forms.
• Manage supplier selection, scope, and risk across strategic commodities.
• Maintain Supplier Management Program with scorecards and audits.
• Collaborate with internal teams to evolve procurement policies and tools.
• Serve as subject matter expert for procurement systems and data.
• Represent Turner in industry associations and conferences.
