Job summary

Turner Construction Company is seeking a Senior Procurement Leader to oversee xPL Procurement strategy, policies, and supplier relations across national programs. You will lead bidding, contract development, and supplier management to meet project goals. Travel 20-30% with a compensation range of 130,000–200,000 USD annually.

Requires 15+ years in procurement within construction, strong negotiating and leadership skills, and SAP experience.

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree and at least 15 years of experience with 10 years in Construction, Procurement Management, or equivalent.
Experience developing and implementing procurement policies and procedures.
Strong knowledge of contracts, insurance, and bonding; SAP experience.

Responsibilities

Lead development of xPL Procurement department processes, policies, and staff.
Develop bidding strategies and manage bid reviews and procurement schedules.
Oversee contract development to align with BPCC and compliance.
Manage supplier qualifications, scope, and insurance requirements.
Create and maintain Supplier Management Program (SMP) and scorecards.
Assess SMP status and publish lessons learned for future developments.
Identify national/subcontractor capabilities and develop key partnerships.
Coordinate with xPL Offsite Manufacturing and Strategic Sourcing on procurement processes.
Serve as SME for procurement systems and processes and represent Turner externally.
