Job summary

Turner Construction Company is seeking an experienced procurement leader to drive the xPL Offsite procurement strategy and manage a national supplier network. The role leads policy development, bidding, and contract oversight to ensure compliance, quality, and cost control across multiple projects.

The candidate will oversee remote teams, develop supplier relationships, and collaborate with SourceBlue and client teams to evolve procurement practices and drive operational excellence.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree required; 15+ years of experience incl. 10+ years in Construction/Procurement.
• Extensive experience developing and implementing procurement policies, procedures, and practices.
• Strong understanding of contractual language, insurance, indemnity, and financial statements.

Responsibilities

• Lead development of xPL Procurement department processes, practices, policies, and staff.
• Develop and implement bidding strategies for competitive bids and proposals with cross-functional teams.
• Oversee contracts to incorporate company standards, insurance, and BPCC forms.
• Manage supplier qualification, risk, and performance within SMP with data-driven scorecards.
• Collaborate with internal teams to evolve procurement policies and ensure alignment with clients.
