Job summary

Turner Construction Company seeks a senior procurement leader to manage the xPL procurement strategy, department, and teams across product, commodity, and supplier lines. The role collaborates with SourceBlue and national subcontractors to drive opportunities and compliant processes.

The position emphasizes developing procurement policies, managing vendor contracts, and leading cross-functional teams to ensure alignment with project requirements and budgets.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree from accredited degree program and minimum of 15 years of experience including 10 years in Construction, Procurement Management, Supply Chain Procurement experience, or equivalent combination of education, training, and experience
• Extensive experience developing and/or implementing Procurement policies, procedures, and practices
• Thorough understanding of contractual language, indemnity, insurance, financial statements and analysis, and company policies

Responsibilities

• Lead development of xPL Procurement department processes, practices, policies, and staff.
• Develop and implement bidding strategies for competitive bids and proposals with cross-functional teams.
• Oversee development of contracts to incorporate company standards for policies and practices.
• Manage supplier scope, insurance, and BPCC collection for strategic commodities.
• Create and maintain Supplier Management Program (SMP) and scorecards.
• Assess SMP status and publish lessons learned for future developments.
• Develop relationships with national, regional, local subcontractors and suppliers.
• Coordinate procurement with Offsite Manufacturing and Strategic Sourcing teams.
• Collaborate to evolve Procurement policies and ensure cross-team alignment.
• Serve as subject matter expert for Procurement and system of record governance
• Maintain external presence in industry associations and events
