Job summary

Turner Construction Company is seeking a seasoned procurement leader for the xPL Offsite division in Chicago, IL. The role oversees procurement policy, supplier relations, and decked-out bid processes to drive value across multiple projects.

You will manage remote teams, coordinate with SourceBlue, and ensure contract compliance with safety and ethics standards while achieving project outcomes.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree from accredited program; 15+ years in construction, procurement management, or related field.
• Experience developing and implementing procurement policies, procedures, and practices.
• Strong understanding of contracts, insurance, bonds, and BPCC forms.
• Ability to read and interpret contract documents, schedules, drawings, and specs.
• Knowledge of SAP procurement functions and data management.

Responsibilities

• Lead development of xPL Procurement department processes, policies, and staff.
• Develop bidding strategies and manage bid/award processes with suppliers and subcontractors.
• Ensure contracts reflect company standards for safety, ethics, and compliance.
• Oversee supplier qualifications, scorecards, and quarterly reviews.
