Job summary

Gen is seeking a Workplace Experience Manager in New York City to lead day-to-day office operations, coordinate services, and reinforce our culture. You will partner with site leadership and cross-functional teams to deliver a welcoming, safe, and high-functioning workplace that supports collaboration and employee engagement.

This onsite role requires 5 days at the NYC office, with flexibility for occasional early or after-hours events.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience preferred.
• 5+ years of experience in workplace experience, office management, hospitality, facilities management, operations, or a related field.
• Experience managing workplace vendors, service providers, and operational budgets.
• Experience partnering with business leaders and employee committees to drive engagement and culture initiatives.
• Experience working within a corporate workplace, facilities, hospitality, or employee experience environment preferred.

Responsibilities

• Lead day-to-day workplace operations, ensuring a safe, compliant, well-maintained, and highly functional office environment.
• Oversee delivery of workplace services including facilities coordination, reception and visitor services, food and beverage programs, janitorial services, maintenance, mail and deliveries, office supplies, and general office operations.
• Monitor workplace conditions, identify operational issues and service gaps, and proactively resolve or elevate matters as appropriate.
• Ensure meeting spaces, common areas, and employee amenities consistently meet workplace standards and support a positive employee experience.
• Maintain workplace readiness, inventory, and operational support services to ensure smooth daily operations.
• Monitor vendor performance and workplace standards, driving continuous improvement and issue resolution.
• Develop and execute local workplace programs and experiences that encourage collaboration, connection, and a sense of belonging.
