Job summary

Empathy, based in New York, is seeking a Workplace Experience Associate to own the NYC office experience and drive employee engagement across a distributed US team. This in-office role involves managing day-to-day operations, vendor relations, events, and collaboration with People Operations, IT, and Finance to create a seamless workplace.

You'll support onboarding, offboarding, and culture-building activities while ensuring a welcoming environment for both in-person and remote employees.

Qualifications

• 2-4 years in office management or related operational role.
• Able to be in the NYC office 5 days a week.
• Exceptional organizational skills and attention to detail.
• Self-starter with proactive mindset and initiative.
• Strong customer service and people skills.

Responsibilities

• Lead day-to-day NYC office operations and ensure a welcoming space.
• Serve as go-to for employees and visitors on office-related needs.
• Manage office logistics, supplies, mail, food, meeting spaces, and services.
• Oversee relationships with vendors and service providers, including contracts and invoicing.
• Partner with building management on maintenance and access needs.
• Help manage the office budget and expenses in line with guidelines.
• Plan and execute in-office events and engagements for remote teams.
• Collaborate with People Operations and IT for onboarding/offboarding.
