Job summary

Stanford Medicine is seeking a Senior Analyst, Workforce Analytics — Data, Reporting & BI. This role partners with the Director of Workforce Analytics to design scalable BI solutions and deliver trusted workforce insights.

Responsibilities include reporting, data governance, dashboard development, data integration, and applying AI to improve efficiency. Strong Tableau/SQL skills, Python/R, and experience with Databricks are highly valued.

Qualifications

• Master’s degree in a technical discipline is preferred.
• Strong knowledge of workforce or HR data, metrics, and reporting practices.
• Experience with HR technology platforms (e.g., Oracle HCM, Workday, SuccessFactors).
• Demonstrated expertise in Tableau, with dashboards and advanced calculations.
• Proficiency with SQL for querying and analyzing data.
• Experience transforming, integrating, validating, and analyzing large datasets for reporting.
• Experience automating recurring data, reporting, and analytics processes.
• Hands-on experience using Python, R, or similar tools is a plus.
• Databricks and data governance tools are a plus.
• Strong stakeholder consulting skills and ability to communicate technical concepts.

Responsibilities

• Define and drive investigations to produce reports from structured data.
• Develop methods for identifying data patterns and trends.
• Create meaningful reports illustrating key findings.
• Lead end-to-end BI initiatives from requirements to rollout.
• Oversee data governance and data quality initiatives.
• Educate stakeholders on workforce analytics tools and promote data literacy.
• Leverage AI to enhance analytics, automation, and self-service reporting.
