Reporting to the Director of Workforce Analytics, your responsibilities will span workforce data, reporting, BI, and analytics to deliver trusted information and actionable insights that inform School of Medicine’s workforce strategies and decision-making.

Desired Qualifications:
Define and drive areas of investigations to assess and producerelevant, standard, or custom information (reports, charts, graphics, andtables) from structured data sources by querying data repositories andgenerating the associated information, including summary interpretationsof results.
Develop and design methods for identifying data patterns andtrends in available information sources using a variety of qualitativeand quantitative techniques. Proactively suggest areas ofinvestigations.
Design and create meaningful reports that effectively illustratekey findings within the data. Identify and recommend strategic datacollection and reporting requirements. Effectively convey findingsandrecommendations to varied audience groups and seniorleadership.
Create non-routine databases and generate related informationsummaries. Develop innovative algorithms and statistical models to helpwith finding key insights.
Perform advanced statistical analyses that are appropriate forcomplex datasets and reporting requirements.
Provide subject matter expertise for ad-hoc projects andinquiries (e.g., requests for statistical analyses or surveys).
Direct and drive the implementation of data standards and commondata elements for data collection.
Lead and/or collaborate with technical staff, project teams orvendors to develop standardizing processes and systemize routinereports, dashboards, and metrics.
May lead testing of prototype software and participate in theapproval and release process for new software.
May oversee or supervise staff in the development andimplementation of programs or functions.
Minimum Education:
Bachelor’s degree.
Minimum Experience:
Five years of relevant experience or combination of education andrelevant experience. Experience in a quantitative discipline such aseconomics, finance, statistics, or engineering.
Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:
Advanced experience applying analytical software, databasemanagement system software, database reporting software, database userinterface and query software, and data mining software.
Advanced ability to collect data using a variety of methods, suchas data mining and hardcopy or electronic documentation study, to improve or expand databases.
Advanced experience utilizing complex statistical tools and techniques.
Considerable interpersonal and communication skills toeffectively convey findings and recommendations to a wide variety ofaudiences and influence senior leadership & faculty in keydecisions.
Ability to manage multiple activities in a deadline-orientedenvironment; highly organized, flexible, and rigorous attention todetail.
Ability to use logic to calculate data; efficiently construct adatabase or scrutinize the form of a question.
Ability to work with data of varying levels of complexity,quality, and validity.
Demonstrated ability to produce data in a clear andunderstandable manner meeting user requirements.
Effectively manage multiple requests from internal and externalcustomers.
Demonstrated experience in leading projects withusers/clients.
