Job summary

Worley is seeking an OEC AWP Coordinator to lead workface planning on complex construction projects in Cameron, LA. You will develop detailed work packages, integrate engineering, procurement and construction, and ensure alignment with contracts and safety standards.

The role requires advanced planning expertise, strong communication with engineers and leaders, and a drive for continuous improvement in AWP practices to enhance project performance and sustainability.

Qualifications

• Degree or equivalent trade qualification with relevant training.
• Advanced knowledge in construction planning and AWP methods.
• Ability to make independent technical decisions with risk awareness.

Responsibilities

• Develops and maintains workface planning strategies aligned with project goals.
• Creates detailed work packages integrating engineering, procurement, and construction.
• Collaborates across disciplines to smooth handoffs from design to execution.
• Ensures adherence to contractual, regulatory, and policy requirements.
• Analyzes data to identify risks and implement mitigation strategies.
• Guides sequencing, resources, and scheduling for optimal productivity.
• Communicates planning methodologies and progress with stakeholders.
• Uses data tools to improve project visibility and decision-making.
• Leads continuous improvement in workface planning and AWP processes.
• Mentors junior planners to strengthen team capabilities.
