Job summary

Worley is seeking an Advanced Work Packaging (AWP) Manager to lead the strategy and governance of AWP implementations across major projects. You will champion construction-driven planning, ensuring alignment from engineering to field execution while guiding multidisciplinary teams and customers toward excellence in delivery.

This leadership role focuses on integrating CWAs, CWPs, EWPs, PWPs, and IWPs, driving readiness, and improving safety, productivity, and schedule certainty through robust

Qualifications

• Degree in Engineering, Construction Management, Project Management, or related field.
• Typically 10+ years in engineering, procurement, construction or related areas.
• Experience leading AWP implementation on large EPC/EPCM, energy, chemicals, resources, infrastructure, or industrial projects.
• Strong understanding of construction execution, workface planning, project controls, scheduling methodologies, and construction readiness processes.
• Experience developing and managing Construction Work Areas, Construction Work Packages, Engineering Work Packages, Procurement Work Packages, and Installation Work Packages.
• Proven ability to influence multidisciplinary teams and build strong relationships with customers, project leadership, and functional stakeholders.
• Strong commercial awareness balancing strategic priorities with execution requirements.
• Excellent communication, facilitation, presentation, and stakeholder engagement skills.
• Leadership in mentoring teams and driving organizational improvement.
• Commitment to safety, quality, sustainability, and operational excellence.
• Advanced problem-solving capability for complex project challenges.

Responsibilities

• Lead development and implementation of AWP strategies across projects.
• Coordinate CWAs, CWPs, EWPs, PWPs, and IWPs integration.
• Align engineering, procurement, fabrication, construction, and project milestones.
• Facilitate Integrated Planning Sessions and readiness reviews.
• Partner with Project Management and functional teams to set execution priorities.
• Govern AWP standards, processes, systems, and tools.
• Monitor readiness and identify risks to project execution.
• Provide coaching and technical leadership to AWP personnel.
• Support proposals, customer presentations, and growth opportunities.
• Promote safety, collaboration, and continuous improvement.
• Drive data integrity, reporting, and performance measurement.
• Support delivery by improving predictability and outcomes.
