Job summary

ICW Group seeks a Managing Attorney to oversee the Litigation Management team in California, driving operational processes, budgeting, and performance metrics. The role combines litigation work with leadership of staff, reporting to the department Director.

The candidate will guide strategy, ensure client satisfaction, and coordinate with legal and business teams to optimize outcomes in workers’ compensation matters.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree from four-year college or university required.
• Juris Doctorate from an accredited law school required.
• Minimum 8-10 years of workers’ compensation legal experience required.
• 1-2 years supervisory experience of one or more roles: associates, paralegals, law clerks, or staff required.

Responsibilities

• Directs the operations of law office personnel providing litigation and legal services.
• Supervises and evaluates associates, paralegals, law clerks, and support staff to strengthen the team.
• Provides oversight of a team of Litigation Management professionals.
• Mentors staff to develop knowledge, skills, and abilities.
• Develops and presents defense strategies for ICW Group.
