SCI Summit Consulting, LLC is seeking an experienced Senior Underwriter to lead evaluation and underwriting of new and renewal business, develop risk assessment models, and coordinate with actuaries, agents and clients to support informed decisions. The role is remote across multiple states with a focus on workers’ comp underwriting excellence, regulatory compliance, and strategic risk management.

• Bachelor's degree in Business, Economics, Risk Management and Insurance or related field or equivalent experience.
• Minimum of 13 years of underwriting or related field experience.
• Professional designations (AU/CPCU/CIC/INS/ARM) preferred.

Responsabilidades

• Leads evaluation and underwriting of new and renewal business in line with guidelines.
• Develops risk assessment models for coverage, pricing, and terms.
• Collaborates with actuaries, agents, brokers, and clients for information and guidance.
• Gathers motor vehicle, loss history, and external inspection reports to support decisions.
• Documents underwriting decisions and ensures regulatory compliance.
• Evaluates complex renewals and modifications for risk mitigation and enhancements.
• Communicates underwriting strategies to internal teams and partners.
• Monitors industry trends and regulatory changes.
