Liberty Mutual is seeking a Technical Claims Specialist I/II, Workers' Compensation, to investigate, evaluate and disposition complex high-exposure WC cases in a hybrid setting with remote options for focused work.

You will analyze data, coordinate with defense counsel, manage reserves, participate in strategy discussions, and mentor less experienced staff while aligning with Liberty Mutual's claims procedures and industry trends.

Qualifikationen

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent business experience is required.
• 3-5 years of related claims experience.
• Proficient in Excel and PowerPoint.
• Effective written and verbal communication skills required.

• Investigates claims to determine coverage, compensability and exposure.
• Resolves claims within authority and advises on value and strategy.
• Participates in pricing, reserving and strategy discussions.
• Manages litigated files with defense counsel per protocols.
• Identifies suspicious claims and third-party subrogation exposure.
• Maintains accurate reserves and makes timely reserve recommendations.
• Prepares for mediation or settlement conferences and negotiates.
• Understands new exposures and data analysis.
• Interacts with policyholders on coverage and resolution strategy.
• Coordinates training for less experienced staff.
