Liberty Mutual Insurance is seeking a Technical Claims Specialist for Workers' Compensation in a hybrid Northeast setting. The role involves investigating, evaluating, and disposition of high-exposure claims, applying medical management strategies, and leveraging data to track claim trends.

Remote within the Northeast region with residency requirements in CT, DE, ME, MA, NH, NJ, NY, PA, RI or VT. On-site work up to two days monthly may be required as business needs evolve.

Formación

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent business experience required.
• Typically 3–5 years of related workers' compensation claims experience.
• Proficient with Excel and PowerPoint; strong written and verbal communication skills.

Responsabilidades

• Investigates claims to determine coverage, compensability and exposure.
• Resolves claims within authority and provides recommendations on cases exceeding authority.
• Participates in pricing, reserving and strategy discussions with HO Examining and Examining Management.
• Works with defense counsel on litigated files per established protocols.
• Identifies suspicious claims and third party subrogation potential; manages reserves.
