Ryder System, Inc. in the United States is seeking a Senior Payroll HRIS Analyst to design, configure, maintain, and optimize Workday Payroll for U.S. and Canada, ensuring accurate payroll processing and compliance.

This role acts as the primary HRIS partner to Payroll and requires in-depth knowledge of Workday Payroll, tax rules, and multi-state considerations. You will partner with Payroll, HRIS, Benefits, Time Tracking and IT to translate business needs into scalable Workday solutions, lead

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree required in related field.
• Five (5) years or more experience in HRIS experience with hands-on Workday Payroll configuration experience supporting complex payroll environments.
• Five (5) years or more experience supporting large, multi-state and/or multi-country payroll operations. Workday Payroll Certification preferred.
• Workday Payroll Certification, preferred.

Responsibilities

• Design, configure, maintain, and optimize Workday Payroll for U.S. and Canada.
• Partner with Payroll and cross-functional teams to translate requirements into configurations.
• Analyze payroll issues, perform root-cause analysis, and implement sustainable fixes.
• Lead Workday testing for releases, updates, and regulatory changes.
• Support Benefits, Compensation, Absence, and reporting related to payroll.
• Evaluate functionality and recommend enhancements for automation and efficiency.
