The position involves leading payroll configuration, supporting integrations, and mentoring junior staff in a remote/hybrid setting while championing automation and continuous improvement.

Qualifications

• 7+ years’ experience with ERP systems, 5+ specializing in Workday Payroll
• Experience with Workday Grants is a plus
• 2+ years’ experience with Workday integrations, security and custom reporting
• Workday Certification is a plus
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Business Administration, or related field, or equivalent work experience

Responsibilities

• Act as a SME for Workday Payroll and lead ongoing maintenance, configuration, and optimization of payroll in Workday with IT, stakeholders and vendors
• Lead payroll configuration, validations and integrations for payroll processing and reporting
• Liaise between IT and payroll partners, managing priorities and initiatives
• Represent Workday payroll capabilities in project teams impacting Workday
• Drive end-to-end ERP continuous improvement initiatives related to payroll including automation and AI
• Ensure configurations comply with payroll regulations, controls and audits
• Provide Tier 2 and Tier 3 production support for Workday payroll and integrations
• Support Workday bi-annual releases and adoption of new features
• Mentor junior analysts and promote best practices
• Foster a customer-focused, collaborative work environment
