Job summary

Workday is seeking a Senior Principal Payroll Consultant to lead the successful implementation of the Workday PATTS suite. You will partner with clients to understand business requirements and configure the payroll solution to meet them, while documenting solutions for future reference.

You will also support data conversion and integrations, test the Workday system, and mentor junior consultants. The role requires travel up to 50% and ongoing collaboration with delivery teams.

Qualifications

• 4+ years of payroll consulting or payroll operations experience.
• 4+ years with Workday, SAP, Oracle, PeopleSoft, ADP or similar applications.
• 4+ years in Payroll, Time & Labor, Labor Costing, Labor Allocation, Payroll Accounting, HCM processes, Benefits, Absence Management, Compensation, Performance Management.

Responsibilities

• Elicit and document customer business requirements.
• Configure the Workday solution to meet requirements.
• Document solutions for client reference.
• Support data conversion and integrations with third parties.
• Assist client in testing the Workday solution.
• Mentor new consultants and share product skills.
• Communicate forecast hours and project risks with the Engagement Manager.
• Travel up to 50% based on client and project needs.
