Job summary

CVS Health is seeking a Senior Workday Integrations Developer to design, build, and maintain Workday integration solutions across multiple systems. You will lead the development of integrations using Workday Studio, Extend, Orchestrate, and pre‑built connectors, ensuring data flows smoothly and securely between Workday and third‑party applications.

You will collaborate with HR, IT, and finance teams, implement best practices, and stay current with quarterly Workday releases to keep integrations

Qualifications

• 5+ years of hands-on experience building Workday Integrations with Workday Studio, EIB, Core Connectors, PECI, and other relevant tools.
• 5+ years' experience partnering with both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
• 5+ years of experience resolving complex technical issues related to Workday integrations using strong analytical skills.
• 5+ years of experience with Workday SOAP API, REST API, JSON, and Import API pattern.
• 3+ years’ experience working on Workday Extend.
• 1+ year of experience working on Workday Orchestrate.
• 1+ year of experience with Workday reporting, calculated fields and Studio.
• 1+ year of experience with Workday security, Core HCM business processes, and alerts.
• Workday Pro Workday Extend Developer I Certification

Responsibilities

• Design integration solutions between Workday and external systems (payroll, benefits, HR, finance, or third-party apps).
• Writes code, develops software components, and implements complex functionalities per project requirements.
• Workday Extend: Development and configuration of Workday Extend applications.
• Workday Orchestrate: design modular orchestrations, link external APIs, process data, handle errors and logic.
• Workday Studio: develop integrations with multiple systems, configure web services, and handle data mappings.
• Use pre-built Connectors to integrate Workday with third‑party apps.
• Customize integrations to meet business needs while following Workday best practices.
• Develop integration workflows that trigger processes in Workday or external systems.
• Deploy integration solutions to production with minimal downtime.
• Assist with data migration and ensure legacy data integrates with external systems.
• Stay updated with Workday releases and update integrations accordingly.
• Document integration workflows and provide training to team members.
• Collaborate with business analysts and cross‑functional teams to align solutions with requirements.
• Provide production support and incident resolution for integrations.
• Communicate clearly with stakeholders about requirements and status.
• Champion continuous improvement and explore new tools and techniques.
