Job summary

Burlington Stores, Inc. is seeking a Sr. HR Systems Analyst to lead Workday Benefits, Time Tracking, Absence, and Leaves configurations. This role partners with HR and Total Rewards to translate requirements into scalable Workday solutions, drive integrations, and enhance process efficiency.

The candidate will oversee projects from requirements through deployment, manage internal IT and external consultants, and maintain strong data integrity and system reliability within a hybrid work model.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in HR/IT/Business; related fields preferred.
• At least five years HR technology experience, with at least half in an analyst role.
• Workday configuration experience required; success creating complex eligibility and/or validation rules.
• At least one Workday Pro Certification (HCM, Reporting, Advanced Reporting, etc.) preferred.
• Consultative mindset with functional knowledge of core HCM data management, EIB loads, and testing procedures.
• Advanced Excel skills and project management fundamentals.

Responsibilities

• Serve as a Workday functional and technical expert for Benefits, Time Tracking, Absence, and Leaves, with consultation on configuration, data integrity, and best practices.
• Translate business requirements into scalable Workday configurations, eligibility rules, business processes, and integrations for accurate administration.
• Lead Workday configuration projects from requirements gathering through design, testing, deployment, and post-production support.
• Manage partnerships with Workday/3rd party consultants and internal IT teams to deliver solutions meeting requirements.
• Configure, maintain, and support Workday Benefits, Time Tracking, Absence, Leave, and related HCM functionality.
• Troubleshoot configuration, integration, and data issues; ensure solutions align with Workday design standards.
