Job summary

Republic Services is seeking a Senior HR Systems Analyst to design, build, test, and optimize Workday solutions across modules. You will partner with COEs, Payroll, and HR Operations to translate business needs into scalable configurations while collaborating with Business Analysts and Workday Engineers on integrations and security.

You will own complex workstreams, ensure data integrity, and guide Tier 1/2 HR support teams.

Qualifications

• 4–7 years of hands-on Workday HRIS experience with deep knowledge of Workday configuration.
• Experience with Workday release cycles and regression testing.
• Advanced Excel and proficiency with Visio, Jira, MS Project, PowerPoint.

Responsibilities

• Design and configure complex Workday business processes, condition rules, calculated fields, validations, alerts, notifications, eligibility rules, and EIB templates.
• Lead end-to-end module impacts and releases, including testing and governance.
• Mentor HR Systems Analyst II and act as an escalation point for complex configuration.
• Coordinate UAT with COEs and HR Operations.
• Maintain configuration documentation, decision logs, and controlled migration processes.
