Job summary

DeKalb Health seeks a Senior Workday Analyst to configure and maintain the Workday platform across HCM, Payroll, Financials, and Planning. You will liaise with HR, Finance, and IT to translate business needs into Workday configurations and support upgrades and integrations.

You will develop reports and dashboards, provide end-user training, and document best practices. A bachelor's degree and 4+ years of experience are required, with Workday certification preferred.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in IT, HR, business or finance or equivalent experience.
• 4+ years supporting an enterprise HRIS/ERP/financial management system.
• Working knowledge of Workday or a comparable platform.
• Certifications preferred or willingness to obtain: Workday Pro Certification in HCM, Payroll, or Financial Management.

Responsibilities

• Configures, maintains, and supports Workday across HCM, Payroll, Financials, and Planning.
• Partners with HR, Finance, and IT stakeholders to gather requirements and translate into Workday configurations.
• Analyzes existing business processes and recommends optimizations to improve efficiency and data accuracy within Workday.
• Supports system upgrades, testing cycles, and integrations to minimize disruption to end users and business operations.
• Serves as a liaison between IT, HR, Finance, and other departments to troubleshoot issues and implement system enhancements.
• Develops and maintains custom reports, dashboards, and calculated fields using Workday reporting tools.
• Provides end-user training and creates supporting documentation, including job aids and process guides.
• Participates in Workday release management, including review of periodic system updates and communication of relevant changes to stakeholders.
• Assists with data validation and quality assurance activities during implementation phases and subsequent configuration changes.
• Maintains awareness of new developments, features, and best practices within the Workday platform.
• Participates in required training and departmental activities.
• Performs other duties as required to support organizational and departmental objectives.
