Confidential, a leading healthcare organization, is seeking a Senior HRIS Analyst to lead Workday system ownership, reporting, and security in partnership with HR, IT, Payroll, and operations.

You will design configurations, build advanced reports, manage integrations, and govern data quality to ensure accurate organizational data and efficient, scalable processes across the HR landscape.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree and hands-on Workday experience are required.
  • Experience with Workday reporting, integrations, and security administration is required.
  • Strong analytical skills to interpret data and drive HR system improvements.
  • Ability to communicate complex technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
  • Healthcare or similarly regulated environment experience preferred.

Position Summary:

A leading healthcare organization is seeking an experienced Senior HRIS Analyst who will report directly to the HRIS Manager. The Senior HRIS Analyst plays a critical role in enhancing and optimizing our HR technology environment, with a primary focus on Workday. This role serves as a key systems, reporting, security, and integrations subject matter expert (SME). The Senior Analyst will support the design, administration, reporting, integration management, and governance of Workday to ensure accurate organizational data, and streamlined processes. This role partners closely with HR, IT, Payroll, and operational stakeholders to deliver reliable system functionality and actionable insights.

Responsibilities:

Workday Systems Ownership

  • Provide day-to-day Workday support, including solution design, configuration, troubleshooting, testing, and maintenance across multiple functional areas.
  • Serve as a Workday SME for HR stakeholders and end users, offering technical support and ensuring a positive user experience.
  • Review and process Workday business process approvals in a timely and compliant manner (terminations, job changes, hires, etc.).

Reporting & Analytics

  • Act as the Reporting Lead for the Human Resources team, creating advanced and ad hoc reports, dashboards, discovery boards, and calculated fields.
  • Recommend and define reporting logic that meets business requirements and improves efficiency and data integrity.
  • Conduct regular audits to ensure data accuracy; identify and resolve data discrepancies across Workday and integrated systems.
  • Translate data into actionable insights for HR leadership and cross-functional partners.

Integration & Security Management

  • Oversee Workday integrations, including administration, monitoring, troubleshooting, and enhancements.
  • Collaborate with internal teams and vendors to ensure integrations function consistently and reliably.
  • Own Workday security configuration, including security group management, access reviews, and adherence to compliance standards and best practices.

System Enhancements & Governance

  • Participate as a technical lead for Workday releases, upgrades, and ongoing feature adoption (weekly updates and semi-annual product releases).
  • Conduct testing, document requirements, and implement improvements that support evolving business processes.
  • Support HR process design, documentation, and process optimization efforts.
  • Research Workday Community for solutions, recommendations, and alignment with platform best practices.

Cross-Functional Support

  • Partner with HR SMEs, Payroll, Finance, and other stakeholders to identify system needs and develop technical solutions.
  • Document processes, maintain SOPs, and provide training and knowledge transfer to system users.
  • Support data governance efforts to ensure consistent and controlled use of HR and employee data.
Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree in information systems, Computer Science, Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field required.
  • 5+ years of hands-on Workday experience with strong functional and technical capability across HCM and related modules.
  • Experience with Workday reporting, integrations, and security administration is required.
  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret data, troubleshoot issues, and drive improvements in HR systems and processes.
  • Demonstrated experience conducting audits, process reviews, diagnostic testing, and system performance assessments.
  • Excellent communication and partnership skills, with the ability to translate technical information into user-friendly guidance.
  • Ability to deliver high-quality work in a fast-paced, evolving environment with strong attention to detail and ownership.
  • Experience training HR and operational teams on Workday functionality.
  • Ability to stay current on Workday enhancements, industry trends, and emerging best practices.
  • Healthcare or similarly complex, compliance-driven industry experience preferred.

Compensation Range: $110,000 - $130,000

The salary/rate range listed here has been provided to comply with local regulations and represents a potential base salary/rate for this role. Please note that actual salaries/rates may vary within this range above or below, depending on experience and location. We look at compensation for each individual and based on experience and qualifications.
