Job summary

Baker Tilly US is seeking a Workday Adaptive Planning Senior Consultant to join Baker Tilly Digital Advisory Services. You will implement, support, and optimize Workday Adaptive Planning for clients, helping improve financial reporting, planning, and forecasting.

As part of a collaborative team, you will deliver end-to-end workstreams, mentor junior staff, and engage with client teams to map operations, define metrics, and drive value through system enhancements. Travel ~20% is expected.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree required; major in accounting, finance, business analytics, MIS, fin-tech or information systems preferred.
• Experience in Enterprise Performance Management (EPM), FP&A, financial systems, or consulting preferred.
• Workday Adaptive Planning or financial systems experience preferred.
• Strong experience with JavaScript, SQL, and integration platforms to connect ERP data.
• Minimum 3 years of corporate financial accounting experience.
• Minimum 1 year of corporate financial planning experience.
• Understanding of FP&A, forecasting and reporting; experience with FP&A teams preferred.
• Strong background in financial reporting, data flows and reporting systems.
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills to work with clients and team members.

Responsibilities

• Support Workday Adaptive Planning implementation projects from discovery through deployment and deliver high-quality workstreams.
• Facilitate client sessions to map operations, define goals, and identify key metrics for decision-making.
• Build, configure, and maintain forecasting and planning models in Workday Adaptive Planning.
• Support end-to-end implementation including configuration, testing, and optimization.
• Configure and troubleshoot integrations using JavaScript, SQL, APIs and other platforms to pull ERP data.
• Help clients streamline financial processes by automating workflows and reports.
• Identify opportunities to reduce data preparation time for better analysis and strategy.
• Provide training to client teams to ensure effective tool use.
