Job summary

Baker Tilly US is seeking a Workday Adaptive Planning Senior Consultant to join our Digital Advisory Services. You will perform implementation, configuration, and optimization of planning processes for diverse clients.

You will lead workstreams, mentor junior staff, and collaborate with clients to improve forecasting, reporting and data-driven decision making, while traveling up to 20% as needed.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in accounting, finance, business analytics, MIS, fin-tech or information systems preferred.
• Experience in EPM, FP&A, financial systems, or consulting preferred.
• Workday Adaptive Planning or financial systems experience preferred.
• Strong experience in JavaScript, SQL, and other integration platforms to incorporate data from ERP systems into Workday Adaptive Planning.
• Minimum of 3 years of corporate financial accounting experience.
• Minimum of 1 year of corporate financial planning experience.
• Solid understanding of financial planning, forecasting and reporting, with FP&A exposure preferred.
• Strong background in financial reporting, data flows and reporting systems.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills; effective written and verbal communication.
• Ability to travel as needed, approximately 20%.

Responsibilities

• Support Workday Adaptive Planning implementation projects from discovery through deployment by delivering assigned workstreams and meeting project timelines.
• Facilitate client sessions to map business operations, define planning goals, and identify key metrics for decision-making.
• Build, configure, and maintain financial forecasting and planning models in Workday Adaptive Planning to meet client requirements.
• Support the implementation process from start to finish, including configuration, testing, and optimization of Workday Adaptive Planning.
• Configure and troubleshoot integrations using JavaScript, SQL, APIs, JDBC and other platforms to consolidate data from ERP sources.
• Help clients streamline financial processes by automating workflows and reports.
• Identify opportunities to reduce data compilation time and enable more analysis and strategy.
• Provide training to client teams to ensure effective use of implemented tools.
