Job summary

Baker Tilly is seeking a Workday Adaptive Planning Senior Consultant to join our Digital Advisory Services practice. You will apply industry and technical experience to build client solutions across planning, forecasting, and reporting.

As part of a collaborative team, you will deliver implementation workstreams, configure integrations, and mentor junior staff while traveling up to 20% as needed. The role emphasizes analytical problem solving and clear communication of business value to clients.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a related field or equivalent experience.
• Experience in Enterprise Performance Management (EPM), FP&A, financial systems, or consulting preferred.
• Workday Adaptive Planning or financial systems experience preferred.
• Strong experience in JavaScript, SQL, and other integration platforms to incorporate data from ERP systems.
• Minimum of 3 years of corporate financial accounting experience.
• Minimum of 1 year of corporate financial planning experience.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills and ability to translate business value of system enhancements.

Responsibilities

• Deliver assigned implementation workstreams for Workday Adaptive Planning projects from discovery through deployment.
• Facilitate client sessions to map operations, define planning goals, and identify key metrics.
• Build and maintain forecasting and planning models in Workday Adaptive Planning.
• Configure, implement, and troubleshoot integrations using APIs, JDBC and other platforms.
• Support the implementation process including testing and optimization of Workday Adaptive Planning.
• Provide training to client teams to ensure effective use of the tools.
