Job summary

MCSA is seeking an experienced maintenance planner to support planning, scheduling, and work control activities. You will provide subject matter guidance and mentor less experienced staff while interpreting technical procedures and regulatory requirements to ensure safe and efficient work execution.

Responsibilities include developing work control documents, coordinating planning teams, and leading hazard analyses.

Qualifications

• 8+ years of related experience in maintenance, craft work, or technical disciplines.
• Experience in planning, scheduling, and work control.
• Background in safety, hazard analyses, and regulatory requirements.

Responsibilities

• Review and validate work requests for accuracy and compliance.
• Develop detailed work control documents including permits and hazard assessments.
• Coordinate planning teams; lead meetings on scope, safety, and resources.
• Identify hazards and determine hazard controls; ensure hazard analyses are completed.
• Support job briefings and pre-job planning with supervisors, craft personnel, and contractors.
• Plan, schedule, and track work using a CMMS; adjust as needed.
• Provide mentoring and guidance to junior planners.
• Coordinate with vendors, contractors, and subcontractors to align with plans.
