Job summary

Mentor Technical Group is seeking a Maintenance Planner to organize and schedule resources for preventative and corrective maintenance in a regulated environment. You will develop detailed work scopes, forecast resource needs, and ensure adherence to regulatory standards.

Ideal candidates have 3–5 years in maintenance planning, strong CMMS experience (MAXIMO preferred), and solid knowledge of cGMPs, OSHA safety practices, and work-management processes. Collaboration with operations is essential.

Qualifications

• Associate degree or equivalent preferred; 2-year college tech school or Technical College diploma with 10+ years experience acceptable.
• 3–5 years of maintenance planning experience.
• Experience in Pharmaceutical/Biotech/Medical Device/Healthcare Industries with cGMP knowledge.
• Strong CMMS knowledge; MAXIMO highly preferred.
• Knowledge of work management processes and labor estimating.
• Familiarity with facilities equipment and O&M requirements.
• Understanding of OSHA safety practices.

Responsibilities

• Plan and schedule resources and materials for maintenance activities to align with preventative and corrective maintenance.
• Develop detailed work scope and forecasts for resource allocation to meet production forecasts.
• Oversee work order activity for regulatory compliance (FDA, DEA, OSHA).
• Improve productivity by coordinating labor, parts, tools, permits, and documentation to prevent delays.
• Maintain the master PM schedule to meet operation lead times according to production needs.
• Coordinate across maintenance groups and facility management to ensure smooth operations.
