Job summary

Kenco Logistics seeks a Senior Application Launch Manager to lead end-to-end WMS/LMS implementations across our site network. You will oversee design, configuration, testing, and launch, while coordinating with vendors, clients, and internal teams to meet business goals.

You will develop requirements, training materials, and project documentation, manage risk, and ensure on-time delivery, aiming for continuous improvement in a dynamic logistics environment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Management Information Systems, Supply Chain Management, Computer Science or a related field required.
• Minimum 6-8 years’ experience in project management and implementation launching WMS and/or LMS.
• Proficiency in SQL required.
• Experience integrating WMS systems with ERP systems (SAP for example) required, WCS a plus.
• Ability to create positive, professional business relationships with internal/external clients and third‑party providers.

Responsibilities

• Independently leads coordination of all project activities during the life of a project (design, implementation planning, execution, testing and launch).
• Writes BRDs for configuration, customizations and integrations for WMS/LMS/WCS.
• Launch projects on time and manage delays to ensure on-time launches.
• Lead client consulting engagements with project scoping, goals and deliverables.
• Develop communication plans and provide timely project status updates to teams and stakeholders.
• Assemble and manage risk with mitigation planning.
• Define project success criteria and disseminate them throughout the life cycle.
• Prepare artifacts for project closure and turnover to production support.
