Job summary

Guidehouse is seeking a senior Windows Server and Cloud Systems Engineer to own production operations in a government cloud environment. You will lead incident response, patching, hardening, and recovery for Windows Server, with strong on-call involvement and collaboration with teams.

You will design secure cloud architectures across Windows and Linux, implement IaC with Terraform and Ansible, and mentor junior engineers while documenting runbooks and SOPs.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or higher in a relevant field.
• Ten years IT/engineering experience with Windows Server.
• Experience with AWS GovCloud and cloud engineering.
• Ability to obtain and maintain a Federal/Public Trust.

Responsibilities

• Own Windows Server production operations (day one).
• Lead incident response and root-cause analysis across Windows Server, cloud, and Kubernetes.
• Design, implement, and maintain secure cloud architectures across Windows and Linux.
• Develop and manage IaC using Terraform and Ansible to provision environments.
• Build and maintain CI/CD and DevSecOps pipelines.
• Monitor availability and manage on-call rotations.
• Mentor junior/mid-level engineers and document runbooks/SOPs.
