Job summary

Guidehouse is seeking a Senior Systems Engineer to support a large-scale federal enterprise infrastructure program in secure environments. You will engineer, implement, and maintain mission-critical Windows Server and virtualization systems, with emphasis on AD, DNS/DHCP, and core services.

The role requires hands-on expertise across server, virtualization, automation, and security compliance, plus collaboration with cybersecurity and cloud teams on modernization initiatives.

Qualifications

• U.S. Citizenship required; Top Secret clearance with SCI eligibility.
• 6+ years of experience engineering and deploying complex enterprise IT systems.
• Experience with Windows Server environments and core infrastructure services.
• Experience supporting secure, compliance-driven federal environments.
• Strong troubleshooting, written and verbal communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Engineer, implement, maintain, and support enterprise infrastructure environments.
• Configure, administer, and troubleshoot AD, GP, DNS, DHCP and core services.
• Support VMware-based virtualization, VDI environments, and related platforms.
• Perform patching, vulnerability remediation, lifecycle management, and modernization.
• Collaborate with cybersecurity, networking, cloud, and development teams.
• Develop system documentation, diagrams, and runbooks.
