Job summary

Guidehouse is seeking a Senior Windows Cloud Server Engineer to own day-one Windows Server production operations in a government cloud environment. You will lead incident response, implement secure, scalable architectures, and empower teams through IaC with Terraform and Ansible, while maintaining CI/CD pipelines and DevSecOps practices.

Qualifications

• Ten (10) years of IT/engineering experience with senior Windows Server operations
• Experience supporting cloud engineering environments
• U.S. citizenship or Green Card required
• Ability to obtain and maintain Federal or DoD Public Trust

Responsibilities

• Own Windows Server production operations (day one) for government cloud
• Administer, troubleshoot, patch, harden, and recover Windows Server systems
• Lead incident response and perform root-cause analysis across Windows, cloud, and container platforms
• Design and maintain secure, scalable cloud architectures across Windows and Linux
• Develop and manage Infrastructure as Code with Terraform and Ansible
• Build and maintain CI/CD pipelines and DevSecOps automation
• Monitor, log, and alert to ensure system availability
• Harden federal environments with IAM and system hardening
• Document runbooks and mentor junior engineers on DevOps practices
• Work on client site in Washington, DC
