Job summary

A3 Technology, Inc. seeks a senior Windows Server DevOps Engineer to join our Washington, DC team. You will own Windows Server production operations (~95% Windows) and serve as senior technical owner for mission-critical applications hosted in AWS GovCloud.

You will lead incident response, manage Kubernetes (EKS), design secure cloud infra, automate with Terraform and Ansible, build CI/CD and DevSecOps pipelines, monitor availability, and mentor junior engineers.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in a related field or higher.
• 10+ years IT/engineering experience with senior Windows Server operations.
• Experience with government cloud (AWS GovCloud) and security requirements.

Responsibilities

• Own Windows Server production operations (day one) and provide hands-on production support.
• Lead Kubernetes (EKS) troubleshooting and production readiness.
• Drive incident response and root-cause analysis across Windows, cloud, and containers.
• Design and maintain secure, scalable cloud architectures for Windows and Linux systems.
• Develop and manage Infrastructure as Code with Terraform and Ansible.
• Build CI/CD pipelines and DevSecOps automation aligned with gov/industry best practices.
• Monitor availability, logging, and alerting; maintain performance baselines.
• Document runbooks and SOPs; mentor junior and mid-level engineers.
