Job summary

Guidehouse is seeking an experienced IT Cyber Security professional to manage Windows Server environments across on‑premises, VMware, Azure, and cloud platforms. You will configure Active Directory, DNS, DHCP, Group Policy, and harden systems in hybrid environments with a Public Trust capability.

6+ years of engineering‑level Windows Server experience and strong scripting with PowerShell are required. This on‑site role in Kansas City, MO involves on‑call rotations and collaboration within

Qualifications

• Engineering-level experience supporting Microsoft Windows Server in enterprise data centers.
• Experience managing Windows workloads in Microsoft Azure, including hybrid cloud environments.
• Experience supporting VMware-based infrastructure and virtualization platforms.
• Demonstrated ability to lead troubleshooting and root cause analysis.
• Experience with Ansible and scripting for automation.
• Strong written and verbal communication in English.

Responsibilities

• Install, configure, patch, monitor, back up, and maintain Windows Server OS across environments.
• Manage AD, DNS, DHCP, and Group Policy in hybrid environments.
• Support on-premises VMware vSphere workloads and cloud transitions (Azure).
• Utilize Azure Monitor and Defender for Cloud to maintain health and compliance.
• Triage Tier 3 incidents and coordinate with customers and vendors.
• Automate tasks using PowerShell and Ansible; maintain GitLab repos.
