Job summary

GuideIT, a US-based technology services company, seeks a Senior System Administrator to join our team. You will manage server and cloud infrastructure with emphasis on Windows Server, Active Directory, AWS, Azure, and Microsoft 365 workloads.

The role includes building, deploying, monitoring, and securing complex environments, mentoring staff, and collaborating with security to enforce posture controls. Remote or hybrid work within the US is supported, with 5+ years of hands-on experience

Qualifications

• 5+ years of hands-on system administration experience in enterprise or managed services environments.
• Expertise in Windows Server administration, including Active Directory, DNS, DHCP, and GPOs.
• Experience administering AWS (EC2, S3, IAM, VPC) with Azure familiarity.
• Proficiency with Microsoft 365 workloads (Exchange Online, SharePoint, OneDrive, Teams).
• Scripting with PowerShell or similar to automate routine tasks.

Responsibilities

• Administer, maintain, and support server and cloud infrastructure.
• Deploy, configure, and maintain infrastructure services (Windows Server, AD, DNS, DHCP).
• Manage AWS and Azure resources and related identity services.
• Support Microsoft 365 workloads and hybrid identity solutions.
• Implement security controls and monitor performance to ensure reliability.
• Mentor junior admins and contribute to runbooks and documentation.
