Job summary

General Dynamics Information Technology, Inc. (GDIT) is hiring for a Help Desk/IT Support role at Offutt AFB, NE.

The job involves 24/7 IT and AV services and supporting NIPRNet, SIPRNet, JWICS, and SAP/SAR environments, with a strong emphasis on Windows workstations and incident response. You will manage virtual machines across Teradici and Wyse Management Suite, provide cross-functional support for mission systems, verify performance after installations, and participate in after-hours

Qualifications

• 3+ years of related IT experience.
• US Citizenship required.
• Top Secret security clearance with SCI eligibility.

Responsibilities

• Manage the operation, configuration, and maintenance of virtual machines and their management consoles (Teradici, Wyse Management Suite (WMS), 10Zig Management Console).
• Provide multi-disciplinary support for mission system services, including life cycle management, engineering, integration, and sustainment across locations.
• Verify system performance after hardware and software installation.
• Manage product/service issue resolution and upgrades.
• Handle the administration and support of print services.
• Diagnose technical problems and escalate as needed.
• Maintain training and planning documentation and validate recovery capabilities through testing.
• Develop and maintain technical documentation including manuals and system specs.
• Collaborate with team members to provide friendly and professional customer service to DoW customers.
• Perform shift work to ensure 24x7 coverage.
