Job summary

General Dynamics Information Technology, Inc. (GDIT) is seeking a seasoned IT professional to support DoD mission systems at Offutt AFB, NE.

The role covers 24/7 IT and AV services, VM management, and enterprise network support for sensitive environments (NIPRNet, SIPRNet, JWICS). You will install, configure, and maintain virtual machines and management consoles, verify performance, and provide incident response and documentation.

Qualifications

• Technical Training, Certification(s) or BS/BA, 4+ years of experience
• Proficiency in troubleshooting and problem-solving
• Aptitude and initiative to learn existing and new technical concepts
• Ability to respond to emergency situations with after-hours support
• Knowledgeable of DISA STIG requirements for Windows based workstations

Responsibilities

• Verify system performance after hardware and software installation
• Manage the operation, configuration, and maintenance of virtual machines and their management consoles (Teradici, Wyse Management Suite (WMS), 10Zig Management Console)
• Provide multi-disciplinary support for mission system services, including life cycle management, engineering, integration, and sustainment of required systems and assured connectivity across geographically separated locations
• Collaborate effectively with team members while providing friendly, efficient and professional customer service in support of DoD customers in a demanding environment
• Performs shift work as required to ensure 24X7 coverage and support
