Job summary

Guidehouse is seeking a Senior DevOps Engineer to support a cloud-hosted infrastructure, build and monitor automation, and drive secure deployment practices across multiple teams in a US-based setting.

You will design and maintain CI/CD pipelines, automate provisioning with Terraform and Ansible, deploy containers with Kubernetes/OpenShift/GKE, and optimize performance with Datadog, Grafana, and ELK stacks. Strong collaboration and security focus required.

Qualifications

• US Citizenship required; must be able to obtain a Public Trust government clearance.
• Minimum 7 years of industry experience with a DEVOPS Focus.
• Experience deploying and troubleshooting Java-based stacks (NGINX, Apache HTTPD, JAVA JDK, Tomcat, PostgreSQL).

Responsibilities

• Support build, test, deployment, and monitoring tools in a cloud-hosted infra.
• Assist with software releases, infra management, inventory, installations, configurations, and connectivity.
• Monitor system performance with Prometheus, Grafana, Datadog, Splunk, ELK.
• Collaborate with development, QA, and operations teams to improve deployment workflows.
• Ensure security best practices in pipelines and infrastructure (DevSecOps).
• Troubleshoot issues across development and production environments.
• Maintain and modernize legacy systems using cloud-native services.
• Design and maintain CI/CD pipelines using GitLab CI, Cloud Build, Harness.
• Automate provisioning with Terraform, Ansible, Helm.
• Deploy and manage containerized apps with Kubernetes, OpenShift, GKE, Cloud Run Knative.
