Job summary

Bright Vision Technologies is seeking an experienced Windchill Java Customization Engineer focused on deep Windchill customizations using Java, PTC APIs, and TAM. Extend its data model, services, listeners, and processors while keeping a clean, upgrade-friendly customization layer.

You will collaborate with product, design, engineering, operations, and business stakeholders to translate complex requirements into well-engineered solutions, and mentor junior engineers through code reviews and

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related technical discipline.
Five or more years of Java development experience with strong Windchill customization focus.
Hands-on experience with Windchill Java API and customization frameworks.
Experience supporting Windchill upgrades and excellent documentation skills.

Responsibilities

Design and develop advanced Java customizations within Windchill, including services, listeners, processors, validators, and helpers.
Extend the Windchill data model with custom types, attributes, and relationships using TAM.
Build custom JSP and HTML extensions, including custom tables, actions, and wizard pages.
Develop custom queues and background processes for asynchronous Windchill tasks.
Lead migration efforts to retire legacy customizations and ensure upgrade-friendly patterns.
Mentor junior engineers through code reviews and pair programming.
Provide hands-on post-go-live support and triage incidents to drive durable fixes.
