Job summary

Bright Vision Technologies is seeking an experienced Windchill Software Engineer to design, develop, and support Windchill customizations, integrations, and enhancements across PLM environments. The role requires strong Windchill Java API skills, solid knowledge of data models, workflows, and integration patterns, plus hands-on experience with JSP/HTML client customization.

Remote work from the United States is supported.

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related technical discipline.
Five or more years of PTC Windchill development experience.
Strong hands-on experience with the Windchill Java API.
Solid experience with workflows, lifecycle templates, and object initialization rules.
Working knowledge of Info*Engine and Windchill integration patterns.
Hands-on experience with JSP/HTML client customization.
Strong SQL skills and familiarity with the Windchill data model.
Experience with Windchill upgrades and migrations.
Excellent troubleshooting and documentation skills.
Strong communication and stakeholder management skills.

Responsibilities

Translate manufacturing and product-lifecycle requirements into Windchill solutions.
Design, develop, and support customizations and integrations on Windchill.
Collaborate with PLM consultants and engineering stakeholders.
Mentor junior engineers and participate in code/design reviews.
Maintain production-quality engineering discipline and clear communication.
