Job summary

Bright Vision Technologies is seeking an experienced Windchill Backend Developer to join our remote U.S. team.

You will focus on deep Windchill customizations using Java, PTC APIs, and customization frameworks, with 6+ years of Java development and Windchill experience. You will work closely with product, design, engineering, operations, and business stakeholders to translate ambiguous requirements into well-engineered solutions, and mentor junior engineers while upholding performance and

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related technical discipline.
Five or more years of Java development experience, with strong focus on Windchill customization.
Deep, hands-on experience with the Windchill Java API and customization frameworks.
Solid understanding of Windchill data model, lifecycle, and workflow internals.
Strong Java OO design and performance-engineering skills.
Experience with JSP, HTML, and Windchill client-side customization.
Hands-on experience with Type and Attribute Management (TAM).
Strong SQL skills and familiarity with Oracle or SQL Server.
Experience supporting Windchill upgrades.
Excellent troubleshooting and documentation skills.

Responsibilities

Develop Windchill back-end features and customizations with Java and Windchill APIs.
Translate ambiguous requirements into well-engineered solutions in collaboration with cross-functional partners.
Lead code and design reviews and mentor junior engineers.
Ensure clean, upgrade-friendly customization layer and good performance.
