Job summary

Bright Vision Technologies seeks a Senior Java PLM Developer to design and implement Windchill-based customizations using Java, Windchill APIs, and customization frameworks. You will work close to the Windchill platform, extending its behavior with services, listeners, and processors while keeping a clean, upgrade-friendly customization layer.

The ideal candidate has deep Windchill internals knowledge, strong Java fundamentals, and a disciplined, performance-aware engineering style.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related technical discipline.
• Five or more years of Java development experience with Windchill customization.
• Hands-on experience with the Windchill Java API and customization frameworks.
• Solid understanding of Windchill data model, lifecycle, and workflow internals.
• Strong Java OO design and performance-engineering skills.
• Experience with JSP, HTML, and Windchill client-side customization.
• Hands-on experience with TAM.
• Strong SQL skills and familiarity with Oracle or SQL Server.
• Experience supporting Windchill upgrades.
• Excellent troubleshooting and documentation skills.

Responsibilities

• Develop Windchill Java customizations and extensions.
• Work with product, design, and engineering to translate requirements into robust solutions.
• Mentor junior engineers and participate in code and design reviews.
• SupportWindchill upgrades and ensure upgrade-friendly customizations.
• Maintain thorough documentation of customization work.
