Job summary

GE Vernova in the wind energy sector seeks a Senior Wind Hub Technician to maintain turbine operations, safety, quality control and warranty repair across hub sites. The role requires travel and collaboration with the Site Lead and Manager to meet contract requirements and timelines.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Ability to pass Technical Knowledge Assessment.
• 4+ years of wind trouble-shooting experience, or 5+ years with EHS/SQC/lead exposure.
• Passing a Technical Knowledge Assessment.
• Basic computer skills.

Responsibilities

• Work with site leadership to meet customer requirements and daily activities on turbines.
• Troubleshoot mechanical, hydraulic, and electrical problems on wind turbines.
• Read schematics, drawings, and manuals and follow procedures.
• Document all work using service reporting procedures.
• Support GE's remote operations center when needed and mentor peers.
