Job summary

GE Vernova is seeking a Senior Wind Hub Technician to drive turbine operations at our wind site, focusing on safety, quality control, and warranty repairs. The role requires extensive troubleshooting across electrical, hydraulic, and mechanical systems with daily collaboration with Site Lead and Manager.

Travel up to 100% of the time is involved, with relocation support provided and a comprehensive benefits package.

Qualifications

• 4+ years of wind trouble-shooting experience
• 1+ year in EHS, SQC, or Lead role
• 5+ years of wind trouble-shooting experience (alternate requirement)
• Passing a Technical Knowledge Assessment
• Basic computer skills

Responsibilities

• Work with site/hub leadership to meet contractual obligations
• Troubleshoot mechanical, hydraulic, and electrical problems on turbines
• Read and explain schematics, drawings, and manuals
• Adhere to EH&S processes and regulations
• Document work using service reporting procedures
• Respond to GE’s remote operations center as needed
• Mentor peers and support site operations
• Maintain alignment with contract timelines
