Job summary

GE Vernova is seeking a Senior Wind Hub Technician to maintain optimal turbine operations at multiple wind sites in the OH hub. Travel is up to 100%, with daily activities focusing on electrical and mechanical equipment, safety, quality control, and warranty repair.

You will work with Site Lead and Manager to meet contract requirements and timelines, aligning with GE standards. The role requires strong wind turbine troubleshooting experience, ability to read schematics, and adherence to EH&S

Qualifications

• Wind troubleshooting experience in wind energy facilities.
• Ability to pass Technical Knowledge Assessment.
• High School Diploma or GED.
• Valid driver's license.
• Willingness to travel up to 100%.

Responsibilities

• Work with site leadership to fulfill customer requirements daily.
• Interpret schematics, drawings, and manuals.
• Troubleshoot mechanical, hydraulic, and electrical issues on turbines.
• Document all work using service reporting procedures.
• Coordinate with GE's remote operations center when needed.
• Mentor peers and support site operations.
