Job summary

GE Vernova is seeking a Senior Wind Hub Technician to support multiple wind sites within Hub OH1. The role requires local travel, non-remote work, and partnership with Site Lead and Manager to meet contract requirements.

You will diagnose mechanical, hydraulic and electrical issues on variable pitch/speed turbines, document work, and coordinate with GE’s remote operations center. Relocation assistance provided and benefits offered.

Qualifications

• Wind turbine troubleshooting experience required.
• Strong understanding of electrical and mechanical systems.
• Ability to read schematics and technical manuals.
• Willingness to travel up to 100% and work rotating shifts.

Responsibilities

• Maintain turbine operations, safety, quality control and warranty repair.
• Diagnose and troubleshoot mechanical, hydraulic, and electrical issues on wind turbines.
• Document all work in service reports and communicate with remote operations center.
• Mentor peers and support site operations as directed by management.
