Job summary

GE Vernova is seeking a Senior Wind Hub Technician to support on-site wind hub operations within the TX6 hub. This role requires extensive wind turbine troubleshooting, safety compliance, and collaboration with Site Lead and Manager to meet contract obligations.

The position involves travel to wind sites, reading schematics, performing diagnostics, and documenting activities with GE’s reporting tools. A technician with 4–5+ years in wind and a valid driver’s license is preferred.

Qualifications

• Minimum 4+ years wind trouble-shooting experience or 5+ years preferred.
• Must pass Technical Knowledge Assessment.

Responsibilities

• Operate and maintain wind turbine equipment per site requirements.
• Troubleshoot mechanical, hydraulic, and electrical issues on variable pitch and speed turbines.
• Read and interpret schematics, drawings, and procedures.
• Document all work using service reporting systems.
• Coordinate with Site Lead and Manager to meet contract timelines.
