Job summary

GE Vernova is seeking a Senior Wind Hub Technician to support daily turbine operations, safety, quality control and warranty repairs at the wind site. The role involves local travel within the hub and collaboration with the Site Lead and Manager to meet contract requirements and timelines.

The position requires diagnosing mechanical, hydraulic and electrical issues on variable pitch and speed turbines, documenting work, and mentoring peers while maintaining high safety and EH&S standards across

Qualifications

• 4+ years of wind trouble-shooting experience or 5+ years with a lead role
• Ability to pass a Technical Knowledge Assessment
• Valid driver’s license required
• Willingness to travel up to 100% of the time
• Ability to work in industrial facilities and wind sites

Responsibilities

• Assist site leadership to meet customer contractual obligations and daily activities
• Troubleshoot mechanical, hydraulic, and electrical issues on GE wind turbines
• Read and apply schematics, drawings, manuals and safety procedures
• Document work using service reporting tools and communicate with remote operations center
• Mentor peers and support site operations under supervision
